How to find us
The nearest car park is the Aylestone Meadows Car Park at the bottom of Marsden Lane. Drive on the single track road past the The Old Aylestone Farm Shop and under the old railway bridge to the free car park. It is then a short stroll over and then under the canal bridge and along the canal towpath to the Tearooms.
The nearest bus stop is the Marsden Lane stop on Lutterworth Rd, Aylestone, Leicester LE2 8PF. Walk down to the bottom of Marsden Lane and onto the single track road past the The Old Aylestone Farm Shop and under the old railway bridge and past the car park. It is then a short stroll over and then under the canal bridge and along the canal towpath to the Tearooms.
Kings Lock Cottage
Kings Lock cottage was built in 1796 and is the last surviving lock keeper’s cottage in Leicester. It has been run as a tearoom since 2004.
