We are open all year round and do not close in the winter.
We try our best to be open all year round, however, during and after winter storms the canal towpath can get flooded between the carpark and the tearooms. If this happens we put out a message on our social pages. It is always best to check before you travel to avoid disappointment.
We always try to be open during our opening hours, however, when the canal towpath is flooded, access is not always possible. We understand it can be disappointing if you have traveled a long way to see us, unfortunately we cannot control the weather. A few hours can make all the difference and when the towpath is passable again we will be open as soon as it is safe to do so.
